Secluded RV park, with asphalt roads and dirt sites, that were not very level. Very quiet at night. Wi-Fi available for $5 per day or $15 per week. Twelve channel cable TV worked fine. Restrooms and showers on upper-level were old and rusty, but those on lower-level were in good shape, probably because they were not used as much. Sand dunes were beautiful, but the beach is a long way away, find a shorter route. Enjoyed our stay.

Not many choices in the area, we stayed here over-night on our way South, $25 was about the right price. Sites were level gravel/dirt with shade trees. Wi-Fi worked good, no cable TV. Highway noise (Hy152) was steady. Older campground, could use some fixing up.

This is a great rustic campground with lots of trees, not a paved parking lot. The roads are asphalt, and the RV sites are gravel/dirt and need a bit of leveling. The park was quiet at night. The restrooms and showers were clean. The free Wifi worked fine. We were in a non-cable TV site, and could only receive one-English and two-Spanish digital antenna channels. They offer a ($) breakfast in the middle of the RV park, Thursday through Monday. There is a well stocked store and clean laundry room.

The only discount this RV Park took was AAA, which gave us 10% off. You can go to Disneyland via three choices: taxi ($9 + tip), shuttle ($8 each), or drive yourself (parking: $12 auto or $17 RV). The restrooms were clean, and there is no key deposit from 8AM to 9PM, other hours require a $5 key deposit. All are back-in sites: level, with full hookups and no shade. The cable TV and Wi-Fi worked great. Freeway noise is from I-5, we pretended it was the ocean.

Good park for an over-nighter: level, gravel, with pull-through sites. They have added Wi-Fi since we were here last, a bit slow but better than none. Restrooms were clean but old, need some fixing up. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Park has cable TV and a swimming pool. There was some freeway noise at night.

Great destination RV Park. Located in the center of town, but very quiet at night. Gravel roads, with level concrete pads on each site, most have good shade trees. Cable TV and Wi-Fi worked well. Swimming pool, showers and bath rooms were clean. Odd entrance, in that it is also the exit, sort of a one-in one-out and take turns. If you can't see their street sign look for the Texaco Gas Station as they are right behind it.

This park has a lot to offer: hot tub, pool, playground, rec-room, and store. Level pull-through sites on asphalt, with picnic table and grass. Wi-Fi worked great, has cable TV and friendly staff. Restrooms were clean, with three individual locking stalls. We went to Temple Square, Clark Planetarium, and the huge copper mine. Only complaint, which is out of their control, is the noise: several trains, few airplanes, and distant freeway vehicles. We will stay here again when we come through.

We were passing through so only stayed the one night. Office hours were only 9 am to Noon, these will probably increase as the busy season (winter) approaches. Self check in was cash only in an envelope (Good Sam) then go pick your site. Wide long pull-thrus, level gravel, Cable TV, full hook ups. Make sure you get the Wi-Fi and Restroom codes on your campground map. About 1/4 mile from freeway, a little noise with the vents open. Restrooms were old, but very clean. No shade and dusty from the wind. OK for our over night stop.

Merrill Campground is the only one with full hook ups (W & E & S) on the south shore. We received a $10 rate discount, per day, with our National Park Senior Card. Sites are asphalt, some level some not. Picnic table, fire ring are included. The pull-thru sites have hook ups for two RV's. No TV reception, but the Campground Host had free Wifi at his site, and firewood for $5 a bundle. Showers are at the Marina, tokens give you six-minutes for $2. Best to gas up in Susanville, as it's a bit expensive at the Lake. Fishing is the thing to do here, but there is an Osprey nest viewing area, with binoculars, near the Ronald McDonald House. You have to hike up the hill a short distance, but there was a baby Osprey in the nest when we were there. Family camping, with a five mile bike trail from Cristie Campground to the Marina. We stayed four nights and had a great time!

The office is only open Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm. There is a campground host located at the far end by the restrooms. They do not take reservations (except for groups); it's first come first serve, but the host said that they never fill up. The front gate is always open with a pay envelope slot for cash or check. It was $25 for full hookups, $5 for only the dump station. Tent sites were $20. Pull through and back in sites were semi-level, on grass and dirt, some with shade trees. The restrooms were very old and require a entry code that you obtain at the office or from the host. Since this is a County Fairground you will get flies from the various animals. There is no security, and anyone can come in through the open gate. We did not have any problems but we thought it best to park next to three other RV's that were there. Very quiet at night. I couldn't find another RV Park in Sonora so this is it. We stayed one night as we were visiting friends in town.

Nice stop over for the night. Level, gravel, pull-through sites. Huge trees, so plenty of shade. Wi-Fi was free, lots of cable channels. Restrooms were rated a '10' by Trailer Life Directory(?), they were clean but more inline with an '8' rating. Showers were 25 cents for 6-minutes. Friendly owners. Quiet at night with the windows closed.

Great family campground destination. The campground was full the two days we stayed there, so making reservations is best. We were in the full hook ups in Loop-I. Some sites are level and some are not, just luck of the draw unless you've been here before. Lots of trees, but we still received five antenna TV channels. Wifi Cafe across the street from the Park entrance is operated by KOA at $5 per 30 minutes, ugh. Better to go into Astoria, there are three coffee shops on Commercial Street that have free Wifi. Looking for a seafood lunch or dinner, try the Ship Inn Restaurant on 2nd Street in Astoria, it was great. Family campground, so kids on bikes everywhere. Restrooms and showers were clean.

Long level sites, grass or dirt depending on what site you get. No rain when we were there, or it would have been muddy. Hook ups are at the very end of the sites, so was a bit of a stretch to hook up our sewer connection. Wi-Fi worked great and 23 Cable TV channels. Swimming pool was 85 degrees. Restrooms and showers were clean. Friendly staff. Playground for the kids.

The prior reviews, even though old, are still correct. The location is great, out on a point over-looking the San Juan Islands, and very close to the Washington Ferry departure terminal, but: Very tight entrance and narrow campground roads, sites are small and not level. Campground has water and electric, but no sewer or dump station. So many trees you can barely see the sun. This place needs some major fixing up. Better off staying at Pioneer Trails or the Indian Casino RV park. We chose not to stay here and moved on. "We did not stay in this park".

We stayed here as it is the closest to the Wild Life Safari (1 1/2 miles). Good for an over-nighter. Older campground, but with modern amenities. 27 sites are permanents, with 10 sites for travelers. Gravel pull-throughs, level, with shade from well developed trees. Free Wi-Fi worked fine, lots of cable channels. Three clean restrooms, were individual locking rooms with toilet, shower, sink and chair. Poor signage makes it hard to see from highway, go 1/2 mile past the green bridge, left side turn lane.

This is a great destination RV park. They have recently expanded the park, with a total of 163 RV sites (96 with W & E & S) (43 with W & E) (24 tents & 10 group). Paved roads and level paved sites. Plenty of shade and privacy in the older section, a bit more open in the new section. Clean restrooms and showers (50 cents for 3 minutes). No TV or WiFi, you can drive into Morton for WiFi at the Coffee Shop. Fire pits and picnic tables at each site. Thirty-five mile drive to Mt. Rainer N.P.

Best KOA we have ever stayed at! All the amentities, plus pool and Hot tub, kids playground, gift shop, etc. Drawbacks: trees have not grown enough over the past 4-years to provide shade, and no fire rings. We checked their Casino website for RV specials and found the $27 rate (Sun. thru Thurs.) Quiet at night. The Oroville Dam is worth a visit if you get tired of losing money at the Casino.

Nice campground, level gravel sites, manicured tall trees, grass and tables. They are down a driveway, behind a Subway Sandwich Shop. Free Wifi worked great, 6-channel cable TV. Restrooms and showers were clean. Owners were friendly and helpful. Groceries, gas, and food are all within a block away. Some freeway noise at night, but not too bad.

This is a California State Park, right across the street from Woodson Bridge RV Park (privately owned). Level paved sites, with no hookups. This is a great campground for tents. Flush toilets. They do have showers (50 cents for 5-minutes). Quiet at night. Fishing access for the Sacramento River is not easy, as the banks are steep. Park is located about 6 miles east of Corning.

Sort of hard to locate, we were happy we had our GPS working. A huge gravel parking lot, sites are level, different rates for 30-amp or 50-amp, no shade. All pull-through sites with full hook-ups. Wifi was free and worked great, only 3-channels on the antenna TV. The restrooms and showers are old, but clean. They require you to show your vehicle insurance card, maybe because it is on County property. The contact person is the Campground Host, not the County Fairgrounds. There is good security on site. It is quiet at night.

Very nice campground; secluded sites, gravel and level. They only take cash and checks, no credit cards. 57-channel cable TV; free Wi-Fi was excellent; clean showers and restrooms. The showers require quarters, fifty-cents for five-minutes. Fire rings at each site; they sell wood in the store. Normal rate is $40 with a $4 discount for Good Sam. Quiet and dark at night, easy sleeping. We stayed here four nights.

OK for an over-nighter. Level, gravel, pull-thru sites. Antenna TV, no Wi-Fi. Freeway noise was not to bad, but about three trains blowing the whistles during the night was annoying. Nice City park next door with playground for kids.

Stayed here three nights to see NASCAR (25 miles) and Disneyland (22 miles). We were in the "B" section which had a fantastic view. Very few sites are level, all paved, full hook-ups. Restrooms and showers are old and needed cleaning. 24-hour security, small store and laundry room. Wi-Fi is free but you can only get it when you are at the Office, disappointing. Cable TV gets 20 channels. A bit pricey but it seems to be the nicest RV park around.

They now have free Wi-Fi, get the password at the office. Level pull-thrus, big trees for shade, restrooms were clean. Traffic noise from Hwy 152 is constant. TV antenna picked up six channels. Good over-night stop for us.

We stayed here 5 nights, great destination State Park. Thirty of the sites have electric and water hookups, these are reserved early so plan ahead. Dump station, clean showers & restrooms, fire rings, TV antenna picked up four channels. The Wi-Fi is offered thru AT&T and is very expensive, best to drive into Morro Bay and go to The Top Dog Cafe on Main St, free Wi-Fi if you buy something. The History Museum is right next to the campground, use the free entry pass they give you at check-in to save $2 per person. The Monarch Butterflies were in Pismo Beach at the 'North Beach State Park' (Nov thru March), plenty of signs to tell you where to go. Some other great things to see and do: SLO (every) Thursday night market on Hiqueria St; the SLO Mission & Museum; Elfin Forest; Morro Rock; Nit-Wit Ridge house in Cambria.

Cash only, no credit. 18 pull-thrus with 6 being paved, all other sites are gravel, not very level. Restrooms were clean, but only one shower for the whole campground. Free Wifi worked great, lots of cable channels. Seafood restaurant right across the street. Friendly owners. Quiet at night, better if you get a site back away from the road.

Asphalt, level, pull-thru or back-in sites, green plant area between sites but no picnic table. Wifi worked great, cable TV with 26 channels. Only one (free) shower in the campground located in the registration building. There are five (pay) showers at the Marina building right next door, you need to ask the office for a key-card to gain access to these and they cost 75 cents for 5-minutes. Marina store is close if you need supplies. Oregon Aquarium and Hatfield Marine Center are within walking distance. Two lighthouses are worth seeing; across the Bay at Anchor Harbor you can get close to sealions and do your shoping. We stayed for 3 nights and had a good time.

Good for an overnighter. All paved, level sites with full hookups. They need to water the grass and newly planted trees once in a while as they were brown and dying. No showers or restrooms in the RV section yet (maybe 2009?). There are outside public restrooms at the Gift Shop. Free Wifi, no cable. Nothing here for kids to do. Very quiet at night, we were glad there were two other RVers staying nearby.

Nice campground, plenty of shade, lots of grass, semi-level sites. Ten pull-thrus and eight of the back-ins have full hookups (E, W, S, tv), the rest of the back-ins are just water and electric. There is a dump station for those sites. The showers were clean, but they operate on tokens only, they give two tokens per person per day (one token is 5 minutes). Wifi is available but it was $25 per week or $10 per day. Very quiet at night. Picnic table and BBQ stand, no open fires were allowed. Gas station next door, but higher prices up here, filler up before you come. We will come here agaain.

RV park entrance is located behind the Shell gasoline station; do not enter at the Inn/Casino. The Inn/Casino is about 100 yards away (shuttle available 4pm to min-night). If no one is in the RV park check-in shack, use the courtesy phone, and they will assign you a site; then walk to the Inn to complete the registration. All paved sites with a little grass patch and table. Wi-Fi is now free, and reception was good. Cable TV, clean showers, swimming pool at Inn. Very strict pet rules enforced. Not really a family RV park, as it has a limited area for activities; besides they want you in the Casino. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

This is a nice RV park with level gravel sites, all pull-thru, some shade. Cable TV and Wi-Fi are included. Restrooms and pool were clean Staff was very friendly and informative. We stayed here back in 2005 and can see great improvements since then. Best one in Winnemucca is our opinion.

Close to Glacier NP. Sites were level, gravel, pull-thru and back-in, with grass and tables. Wifi worked great, but only antenna tv which received 2-channels. Off I-90 about 2 miles, so very quiet at night. Sites were level, gravel & dirt, pull-thru or back-in, with Wi-Fi included. Very few trees so not much shade. They also have cabins and Teepee's for rent. No TV service. Showers were tile, clean, and roomy. They do sell gasoline here if you need to fill up. We stayed just the one night on our way to Glacier NP.

Prior reviews are correct, good campground. Their 'senior discount' is better than Good Sam. Wifi and cable tv worked great. All back-in sites, #50 thru #61 are the most level with gravel, roomy and some with shade. Rest rooms and showers were clean, but only one shower (each) for entire campground. Very quiet at night, office open until 6pm in summer.

This is a Lassen National Forest campground located at the southern shore of Eagle lake. Sites are level, shaded and paved, with the best ones having 15 amp, water & sewer. Flush toilets, but showers are located at Marina (3 miles away) where you buy tokens. Fire pits, family campground. Susanville is 15 miles away, so it's mainly fishing and relaxing here. There is a 5 mile paved bike trail. We enjoyed out stay with a group of 4 rvers.

Just stayed the one night in Holbrook, on our way to the Albuquerque Balloon Fest. Glad we made reservations here a day ahead of time, as they were booked full. Full hookups, pull thru, level asphalt sites, no shade. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. They require a $10 key deposit for the bathrooms, and refund on departure. Wifi was included with price, worked great. Antenna tv got 5 channels. Nice swimming pool. This RV parking area is only open for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta during the first three weeks of October. They offer three different areas of camping = Dry, or 20-amp & W, or 30-amp & W close to balloon launch sight. We camped in the 20-amp & W area. Rally style parking = 500 RVs side by side in different sections of the park. The have portable toilets and no showers. The park offers a septic service ($) that will drive to your RV to empty your tanks. Sites were semi-level with gravel or dirt. We were within walking distance of the Balloon launch sight, they also have free shuttle buses to and from. Electric power is provided by 24 hour large generators, if you're next to one they are noisy. If you are arriving with a group, you all must enter at the same time to be parked together. The greatest thing this RV park offers is being close (walk to) the launch sight, otherwise the driving and parking to get there is terrible. Make your reservation very early (refundable) as this sells out 9 months in advance. WiFi is available at local coffee shops within 2 miles of RV park. The Balloon Event was fantastic, 350 balloon launch on weekends, fireworks, morning and night glow balloons. We would stay here again.

Riverside County RV Park, TL Directory said gravel sites but all were dirt and the dust was terrible when the wind blew in the afternoon. Sites were level, some with shade, 40' max length, water/electric at some sites, dump station, fishing for $6 with CA license, bathrooms and showers (50 cents for 3 mins) were old and dirty. Great family campground. A different selection of hookups offered at each site, so be sure and check what you are signing up for. We had E/W and cable tv, but no sewer or internet. Dump station included in price. Showers cost fifty-cents for 3 minutes, so bring quarters. Water Park was closed Oct to May, but they had bike rental on weekends. Train noise was constant and loud. This RV park is for those that want to be near the activities the Colorado River offers, not a good one for just an overnighter. All sites are paved and level. Cable tv, high-speed DSL internet in office, pool & hot tub, large playground. RV sites have either grass or gravel areas between them, for picnic tables. They have 25 extra parking spaces available for toads or 5th wheel trucks if you only can get a short site, but they do have a few 60' pads. Rules are strict, but it was a pleasure to have no speeders, spotless campgrounds, and clean restrooms. The Santa Ana Star Casino is just 2 blocks away with a great buffet! Grocery store and Drug store across the street. We enjoyed our two-day stay.

Two-miles off I -40 so it was quiet. Level gravel sites, with picnic tables on grass. Excellent restrooms and showers. Free Wifi and cable tv. Pool was closed for winter; game room, playground, basketball court, nice gift shop. Staff was friendly.

This is a "Destination" campground, located about 15 miles north of Mineral Wells. They primarily cater to family and groups. Plenty of sites, some shady some not, cabins for rent, mini-store & supplies available. Wifi is free, antenna TV can only get a snowy two channels. Very clean showers and restrooms! Baseball field, 9 hole golf for $10, pool, rec-hall. Dogs ok, but if you don't keep them quiet you get a RV on the edge of the park. Wally-World is about 15 miles away.

An oasis in the desert (I-40 exit 233)! Great find for an over-nighter and to visit the Meteor Crater Visitor Center. Level, gravel, spacious pull-thru sites with full hookups. Faint I-40 vehicle noise otherwise it was quiet. Restroom/Showers are four individual locking rooms, very clean! Free Wifi, antenna TV gets 6 channels. Gas station, Subway Restaurant, minimart. The Crater is about 5 miles down the road, ask for the $1 discount when you register at the park. Will stay here again when passing thru.

At I-5 and Hwy 41 (Exit 309), Full hook ups, gravel pull thrus, some with 50 amps. Restrooms were old but clean, swimming pool, no internet, antenna TV got 12 channels, very faint freeway noise. You can walk to restaurant next door, plenty of gas stations and fast food.

Stayed overnight, quiet for being close to Hwy 58, very clean RV park and restrooms, paved roads and level gravel sites. 100 pull-thrus, full hookups, cable TV at site, phone jack at site for $1 (modem), they were in process of getting WIFI. Nice pool and hot-tub. No shade if you're there in summer. We camped here in March 2006.

We stayed here because it was the closest to friends we were visiting. They only had 8 sites available, almost all sites are permanant folks. Train noise at night. Sites are close together. Restrooms were ok. They had a free computer in the library, Wifi was only for permanents, but the pastword to access it was listed next to free computer in library:>) Antenna TV, no cable. Didn't use the pool but looked clean. They only take cash or check.

The two prior reviews from 2004 are still accurate listing all of the pluses. All sites are pull thru/full hookups, good gravel sites and paved roads. However, we could hear the freeway noise and trains during the night. No cable TV, but good antenna reception, and no internet. Restrooms are showing their age: cobwebs, chipped paint, need some cleaning. Friendly staff, we stayed overnight.

Just as the prior reviews say this park is is still excellent. However the cost continues to climb. It cost us $38 for a pull/full, and wifi would have been another $5. We used the free modem in the office. So if you have the dough in the Redding area this is a great place to stay. As a side note the new pedestrian Sundial Bridge is about 2 miles away, ask the office for map and directions, it's worth the time to see (even lighted at night).

We stopped here for one night. Park is listed under Twin Falls, but is in Eden off I-84 at exit #182. We were disappointed that they advertised Wifi in the TL Directory, but only had modem hook up in office. The restroom only had one shower and it was old and dirty (maybe there was another restroom, but we didn't see it?). Nice grassy sites, cafe, gasoline, swimming pool.

Not much else in Elko, so it was the best for an over-nighter. Level gravel sites, full hookups, cable TV, phone at site for $2, no shade. Showers were clean, $1 for 15 minutes. They separate the over-nighters from the long-stays, which is good. RV store in lobby, and a free buffet breakfast starting at 7am.

Good for an overnighter. Gravel level sites, not much shade, nice outdoor pool, small store, game room, cable TV, modem in office (free), or WIFI ($6 day). Away from I-80 noise. Nice folks in the office.

Great location in Yellowstone for seeing/driving around the park. Only campground in Yellowstone with hookups, and they require hard-side Rv's, no tents. Showers were clean and cost $3 per. They will refund your money if you leave early. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here 3 nights, disappointed that they gave away our pull-thru site after we made our reservation 6-months in advance. We arrived on our scheduled day at 2pm. Best to call and confirm before you arrive. They are very crowded, so their attitude is so-so. $47 per night for full hookups with cable. Restrooms and showers were clean. WiFi only in office lobby. Next trip to the Grand Tetons we will try a different RV park.

RV Park is owned by Ramada Inns, and is located behind the motel. Only 6 sites with 50-amp, all the rest have 30 amp service. All pull-thru sites, no shade. Nice indoor pool, cable TV, 15 sites have phone located at site. Restrooms and showers were clean. Highway 89 from Logan to Garden City was 38 miles of very steep and rough road with our 5th wheel.

Easily located off Alt-Hwy-50; friendly staff; level wide paved spaces, telephone at site $1 or modem at laundry room; 8 separate lockable bathrooms each with toilet, sink, shower (very clean); propane; cable TV. Great one-night stop for us.

This is primarily a family RV park, with lots of kids (all ages). Most sites have campfire pits and quiet time starts at 10:30pm. Great location, 1 mile from the Bryce Canyon entrance gate, and a shuttle bus stops at the campground. Horse rides, ATV rides, bicycle paths, swimming pool. No cable or phone at site, but they have free WIFI in the Ruby Lodge lobby (next door to the RV park, about 1/4 mile). Huge gift shop, lots of tour buses stay over-night at the lodge. Some RV sites were close together, some had lots of room. They had 8 Indian style TP's, tent areas, and small log cabins for rent. We enjoyed our stay here.

Easy in and out, with 90 pull-thrus. Had both free WiFi or modem access, and Cable TV. Great indoor pool and hot tub. RV park was about 20 minutes south of Portland off I-5.

We chose this RV park because it was the closest to the Ashland Shakespeare Festival. Older park, with paved but narrow roads. Sites were tight and close together. 50 sites but only 9 pull-thru and only 11 with sewer, but they do have a sewer dump. Staff was friendly, and it appears the new owners (2004) are making some improvements. Clean restrooms and showers. Cable TV and wireless internet included in fee. Very quiet park with stream running through in.

Newer RV park, with paved roads and level sites, picnic tables and grass areas at each site. Free wireless internet and cable TV. They had a clubhouse for group activities with a pool and hot tub. Park was very well maintained, with clean showers and restrooms. We stayed here five days.

For us it was a place to overnight while enroute on I-5. Park has 85 sites but only 35 available, with all 35 paved pull-thru (42' max) with full hookups. Some freeway noise. No cable or internet. Friendly staff.

We chose this park for its convenient location to the Los Angles area attractions. Park has 187 spaces, but only 39 available due to larger number of long-term renters. We didn't see any pull-thru sites. Sites were uneven and messy. Park is paved but roads and sites are very tight. Restroom was clean, but showers needed some work. Modem in office and cable TV. We stayed here in January 2005, had planned on six days, but left after four.
